Phone loses service after disconnecting from wifi.
When I leave my home and my phone disconnects from my home wifi (also xfinity) my phone loses all cell service. The only way to fix it is to switch airplane mode on and off. I have let it sit while I drive to see if its just being slow and it never comes back on its own. It also does this when I leave my friends house who also has xfinity internet. When I visit my sister who has a different internet provider everything works perfectly when I leave.

I've tried resetting network settings, dialing *228 for a 3G PRL update, removing and reinserting the SIM card (that's supposed to trigger a 4G/LTE PRL update), and still no fix.
What phone are you on? Did you notice if your issue happened to start around the same time as the December update (around December 28th for the A50)?
Hopefully this gets fixed soon. Let me know if you have any luck with a long-term solution. In the meantime, try disabling Wi-Fi calling and see if that works for you.

My A50 does as well. Tried resetting network, clearing cache, removing sim card. Still does it. Started doing this about a month ago.

I, too, went through the same corrections with Xfinity, both by phone support and in-store support... The disconnect issue still continues. Moreover, my VM app continuously notes an error and I often do not get a VM till 3 days after it was sent. What a wonderful Xfinity Experience when I cannot handle work calls on a timely basis.

I have been having the same issue and yes, it has been about since the December update.
If I forget to turn airplane mode on and back off when I get to work, I miss calls and voicemails all day.

Does Xfinity tech support monitor this forum? I see many other have this issue not no fix yet. Usual troubleshooting we have all done does not resolve the issue.
I would like to see a fix here! Identify the issue, create a patch and send it out to A50 users!
