Phone keeps flipping between 5g and LTE. This did not happen on US mobile

I just got xfinity mobile coming from US mobile which is also on Verizon. I have an iPhone 13. Us mobile was consistently getting me 5g from my house and staying on 5g signal pulling 200mbps. Since switching to xfinity mobile the phone continuously pops between LTE and 5G. The only thing that’s changed is that I have xfinity mobile and not us mobile now. I’m at the exact same location and was using Verizon 5g on us mobile minutes before switching to  to xfinity and seeing severe network degradation only on xfinity mobile now only getting 30-50mbps and my phone is on band 13 and 66 according to my network diagnostics. Something must be wrong provisioning wise on xfinity or they are intentionally throttling me significantly more than US mobile did. I was on the US mobile unlimited all plan which is supposed to have the same QCI of 8 at xfinity mobile so if they both have the same priority that leaves me thinking that something was provisioned incorrectly.
