Phone doesn't show Xfinity Wifi Hotspot

My Chromebook picks up and connects to a nearby Xfinity Wifi Hotpot from home, but my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8) doesn't. The phone will pick it up when I am at the hotspot but doesn't show it at all at home. Can someone recommend settings I can check to troubleshoot? Thanks.
