Paid phone unlock code

Makes customers think twice on buying a phone. Once paid off its the customers phone. Stuck with paid off pricey phone? Cannot use it because it is now locked???

Cannot find list of unlocked codes to use on paid phones not current used.

Red tape to get one. CUSTOMERS should not have to file complaints with Fcc. Paid off cell phones should be automatically UNLOCKED...
