No Cell Service in my area, is there an outage

I've been experiencing an issue where both my phone and my wife's phone will lose service about once a week for about a day or 2 for the past 2-3 months. Others in my area also experience the same issue, however, there is no information online that I can find regarding any outages or upgrades to our service. Contacting Xfinity customer service is all but useless as they all repeat the same thing wanting to troubleshoot my phone, when I'm sure my phone is not the issue.

Now, if I were to leave my area and go to the next town over, I would have cellular service again. I know Xfinity Mobile uses Verizon's service, and as far as I can tell, they are having issues as well, however, nothing about any outages or upgrades happening for them either can be found online.

I am so sorry that you are dealing with an interruption in your cell services! I can't even begin to imagine how frustrating that would be! I want to make sure, have you been able to try this link, https://www.xfinity.com/support/status-map, to see if there are any updates?

@XfinityJosephB​ Thank you for the response. However, the link you provided doesn't show any status about the MOBILE service, just Internet, TV, and voice, as far as I can tell.

@TNelson832, I appreciate you giving it a go. It sounds like a mobile issue, and I am not seeing anything reported about this on the residential side. Due to our limited access to mobile we would not be able to provide much support. Is this happening on the cell network, or the hotspots? 

I no longer work for Comcast.
