New iphone won't make outgoing calls with Xfinity
I just replaced my old iphone SE (with Xfinity mobile) with the new version. Everything transferred fine. Except I can't make or receive calls! Texts work fine. My connection to my Wifi is fine. My phone says "xfinity mobile" at the top. If I try to make a call, it says, "Welcome to Verizon wireless" and says that my call will be transferred to an outside person and I can make the call with a credit card. I called one support number with my daughter's phone - after the auto questions, it just rang and rang. No message. I called another number - it said it would restart my Xfinity modem (which I don't have) and that an agent can't help me until that happens.
Any ideas? I'm thinking it's not activated properly but have followed all the directions. Help!

After 2 1/2 hours of calling, being put on hold, then disconnected, repeat x6, I finally got in to the chat feature of support. Earlier no one was available. It took almost 30 min. of starting/restarting the phone, resetting everything to factory defaults and starting the whole set up process all over again. It works...finally! I will try to find a feedback page where I can leave comments. The agents were trying to be helpful - not their fault - but the system was horrid.

Resetting the network on the iPhone worked for me.
Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings
