Never received money from Mobile Contract Buy Out

It's been almost a year and we've went into Xfinity twice, we've called probably 5 different times, we've chatted repeatedly and each time we are told that we should receive the money, or to call a certain number. Constantly giving us the roundabout or telling us it's been solved and we should receive it in 30 days and have received absolutely nothing. Once they told us to call the number of the company in charge of paying the contract buy out - to which they responded they have absolutely nothing to do with it and that Xfinity must initiate. Ended up paying $700 to get out ATT plan. I've been with Xfinity since 2019 and we are about to leave because what a huge regret. Never would've switched if we knew we would be paying $700 of our own money to get out of the contract.
