I purchased a phone on April 30th. I went into xfinity store near me to add insurance on the phone and was told I had 30 days to add the insurance. Today is May 30th exactly 30 days yet they told me I could not add the insurance because I was over the timeframe. Again purchase date was April 30th today is May 30 exactly 30 days. why is this

@user_1cygs6 They must have counted the day you purchased as a day 1. So 30 days would have been May 29th. Weren't they able to offer an explanation at the store?

Xfinity Mobile Care can only be added WITHIN the first 30 days of the activation of a new device. However, for those customers who missed the initial 30-day enrollment period after activating their device to opt in. You will be able to sign up during an open enrollment period. Eligible customers will be notified via email when open enrollment begins. During this period, customers can enroll in XMC through the Xfinity App, the Xfinity Mobile Care by Assurant app, or by contacting us here. It's important to note that the device must pass a device eligibility inspection during this time.
