Is Comcast/Xfinity Asking for Another Class-Action Lawsuit?

Xfinity has been the worst provider experience I have had by far. I called to cancel my internet and mobile service; well, guess what: they didn't cancel the mobile service and kept charging me. Then I called again to cancel the mobile, and after negotiating the bill, they acknowledged they shouldn't have charged me and gave me a final bill on 9/3/26 for $103, which I paid immediately. Well, they didn't cancel or transfer the number, and now, on 10/7/26, a little over a month later, they're charging me $93.32, which includes a $25 XM fee for standalone service. The joke itself is tremendous, so if you have only and only mobile service, these advertised prices of $45 or $30 are a lie, because you will be charged PER LINE and an additional $25 because you must have internet service with them in order for the mobile service to be charged at the marketed price. Not even when I called to cancel the whole service (internet + mobile), not when I realized they never canceled the service and I paid to bring the account to zero, and not even on 9/3/26 when I was told that; for a month, the bill is now $93.32, more than any other service provider for a basic line.

And honestly, this appears to be more than an isolated customer-service failure. Continuing to bill after cancellation, failing to close an account after accepting a final payment, and imposing charges that conflict with advertised pricing resemble practices that have been challenged in prior consumer litigation against Comcast. In Gonzales v. Comcast, customers alleged continued billing after cancellation and confusing final bills, although that case did not produce class-wide relief. Separately, Minnesota obtained a $1.3 million settlement from Comcast in 2020 over allegations involving hidden fees, unordered services or equipment, and charges that differed from promised prices. My experience, and I bet there are many more, raises similar consumer-protection concerns and suggests a potentially systemic billing practice. They definitely didn't learn the lesson!!
