Iphone 8 to Iphone 13 Sim Question

I preordered an Iphone 13 from Xfinity to replace my Iphone 8.   Will the new phone come with a new SIM to be able to connect to the 5G network?

Yes, our iPhone 13s came with new sims.

Congratulations on successfully placing your order for the new iPhone 13 @HTRK-1. The new device will not come with a new SIM card since you will need to insert the one you have in your phone now into the new device.

 

You will also need to speak to our Xfinity Mobile support team to assign the new iPhone 13 to your phone number. Here's the phone number you can dial 1 (888) 936-4968.

@XfinityRaul This is incorrect. The new phone came with a new SIM card and could be activated on line.

My apologies for the miscommunication. All iPhones come with a new sim card. I know this was not your question but https://comca.st/3DpL3yg has a great how-to page that shows you how to swap the cards if you want to use the one in your previous phone.
