iPhone 12 Visual Voicemail Not Working Properly

I recently transferred to Xfinity Mobile as a new customer. I was an Android user on the previous carrier but now switched to iPhone. However, I found the visual voicemail doesn't work properly. The only option on the tab is "Call Voicemail".

I saw couple person have similar issue on the forum (see link below) and got the problem fixed. I have talked with some agents but no luck to fix the issue.

Hope anyone here can help to fix this issue.

Finally got this fixed. You have to call 888.936.4968. They will not be able to help you. They will have to transfer you to the tier 2 department.  The hold time is outrageous, so do the callback option (unless you want to hold for 2 hours). I got the callback and got a rep located in Ontario Canada who was able to fix it.

After 20 minutes I finally got Tier 2 support...they reset my voicemail and for the first time since I switched from iPhone 11, visual voicemail is working. It takes a lot of insistence and Xfinity saying it’s an Apple issue but force them to transfer you to Tier 2 support and get them to reset your voicemail

I have been having the same problem: 4 new lines switched from Verizon android to Xfinity iPhone.  Visual Voicemail is not working on any of them.

Two weeks ago I spent 3 hours on the line with Tier 2 support who ultimately threw up their hands and said it was an Apple problem and that I needed to request brand new devices from Apple becuase we must have gotten a bad batch. Honestly ridiculous!

I am on hold right now with Tier 2 support trying again. Fingers crossed it will be more successful this time.

I'm skeptical. If you read through the forums you will see this is a very common problem and no one at Xfinity (other than ComcastChrisL, who is no longer there) is able to fix this problem. They need to figure out this issue, which is becoming quite the problem.

Edit: after 1.5 hours this time, Tier 2 was able to reset voicemail on all four iPhones and they are not working correctly.

Thank you so much Dave! I called XM reached a 2nd tier rep. I told to do what you said in the second fix. She deleted Visual Voicemail from my account, then added it back. Had me shut down my iPhone 12. Restart and voila it worked. Tested it by leaving myself a voicemail.
Again thank you!
