Can you get internet discount if you add a new phone line?

Apparently Maybe, but only for NEW Xfinity Mobile customers. Here is the current promotion:

$20 Mobile discount: Must sign up for Xfinity Mobile and activate a new line within 90 days of order and maintain the line to receive $10 mobile discount for 24 months. Discount applied to Internet bill and will appear on statement within 30 days of Xfinity Mobile line activation. If Xfinity Mobile is cancelled or Internet service is changed to a tier lower than Fast Internet service, the $10 multi-product discount will be removed. Must add Unlimited Data to one Xfinity Mobile line within 90 days of order to receive an additional $10 monthly discount for 24 months. After 24 months, or if all Xfinity Mobile lines are changed to By the Gig, $10 Unlimited Data discount will be removed. Read the above carefully and my guess is that it really says is:

1.) The first $10 is for NEW Xfinity Mobile accounts only and must maintain FAST Internet service

2.) The additional or second $10 is also for NEW Xfinity Mobile accounts but only if you add and maintain unlimited data on one line. 

If you are already an Xfinity Mobile customer you might be able to reduce your internet bill just by logging into you regular Comcast/Xfinity account and by looking for offers for existing customers. The offers may include a reduced monthly cost if you agree to 12 or 24 months. They may also offer you a $5 or $10 credit for automatic payment for credit card or bank charge. You may already be getting these discounts?

Hi,

thanks for the answer. So let’s say I’ve been an Xfinity internet customer for two years now and I just decided to add an Xfinity mobile service now, will I get a discount or no?

It sure sound like you could get the discounts! Take a screen shot of the promotion on the XM site. 

You may want to try to reduce you current internet price first as I suggested above for current users, and then later grab the XM offer.
