International calling plans

My daughter is going on an internship to South Africa for 10 weeks.  Apparently, your only international plan is Global Travel Pass which is $10/day.  I am extremely disappointed that you do not offer other options for long term stays.  For example, Verizon has an International Monthly Plan for $100.  Using Global Travel Pass, I will be spending 3 times that amount.
