I was denied the promotion of $500 off each of my two purchased phones because the Xfinity computer identified a processing delay.
Through a BBB Complaint a Xfinity Representative explained to me if I had completed the phone purchases on either the 3rd or 6th of July 2025, the Xfinity computer would have processed the promotion. The computer did not recognize me as a new customer on the 6th because of the processing on the 3rd. I explained I went to my local Xfinity Store on Friday July 3rd for the promotion, and the Xfinity Store Representative did not finish all the processing since the new phones were not in stock. He asked me and my wife to return to this store on the Monday after the July 4th holiday when he would have our new phones available. We returned on the 6th and the same Xfinity Store Representative had the phones ready and he finished the processing. I consider it absurd that I would negate a $1,000 savings on purpose. This seems to be a classic case of a computer algorithm not being able to discern my wife and I being compliant to a Xfinity Store Representative. Corporate Xfinity should recognize their moral obligation to realize this is one transaction spaced over the July 4th holiday. Conclusion: I did all the due diligence for the promotion of $500 off each of my two purchased phones, and should not be denied the promotion because a Xfinity computer identified a processing delay which was initiated by a Xfinity Store Representative over the July 4th holiday.
