I cannot receive Xbox verification codes

I have my Xbox set up so it sends my phone number a code when logging in. I just had to redo my Xbox account for unrelated issues but now I’m unable to log in again because of the verification code not showing on my phone. I’ve tried restarting, turning airplane mode on, checked all of my messaging related settings and nothing. I was originally receiving the messages for the last month but all of a sudden they just stopped showing.
