Horrible Customer Service and Mobile charges for an iPad never received

I have never experienced customer service this bad.

In November 2023, Xfinity offered me a promotional iPad. I never received the iPad. Despite that, Xfinity has been charging me monthly mobile service fees for it ever since.

Over the past two and a half years, I’ve spent countless hours on the phone with customer support and made multiple trips to my local Xfinity store. Every representative promises the issue will be fixed, yet the charges continue month after month.

At this point, Xfinity has collected several hundred dollars for a device I never received. They have also failed to stop the recurring charges despite repeated requests. This is no longer a simple billing error—it’s a complete failure of customer service and billing accountability.

I don’t want another apology. I don’t want another ticket number. I want Xfinity to:

  • Immediately stop charging me for a device I never received.
  • Refund every dollar I’ve been improperly charged since November 2023.
  • Explain how this was allowed to continue after so many support interactions.

No customer should have to spend years fighting to stop charges for a product that never existed in their possession. I expected much better from a company of this size.

Hello @user_288l5r Sorry to hear about your experience with the iPad and the charges. In this case we can get you escalated up to our Corporate Xfinity Mobile Escalations team to have them investigate the whole situation and get you a dedicated agent on the case. Please send us a direct message with your full name and the service address for your account to get started.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
