help not getting emails

I needed to reset a password for a particular application.  They send me the reset email and I did not receive it.  They have sent it about 8 times and I don't get it.  I don't have them blocked, their emails are not in spam.  This has happened for at least 2 different companies I interact with.  I am VERY frustrated because I can't speak with someone live.  We moved to Arizona 2 years ago so we had to cancel our xfinity service and they don't offer it in Arizona.  However, I have been able to maintain my comcast.net account with no problems until these 2 companies trying to send me an email.  I don't know how to get anyone to help with this.
