Garbage

Most of the time I have full bars 5G and 5G+.  Try to access anything on data just horrible. All I get is no internet connection, no internet, cannot connect and unstable network. Xfinity has to be the worst service I’ve ever had.. Just give me the run around. And all they can do is give me the same instructions on resetting network or pulling my sim out and putting it back in. Data on the phone is pretty much worthless unless I’m at home on my own Wi-Fi.

You appear to be connecting to garbage WiFi networks, so the problem is not XM and its cellular internet connectivity. When your phone shows the WiFi symbol you are no longer using XM LTE/5G/5G+ cellular data/internet connectivity.

The answer is to only connect to reliable WiFi networks such as your home and work ones. Your best bet is to do as follows on your phone:

1.) Reset Network Settings - to remove all good and bad WiFi connections

2.) Set Ask to join networks to Off - so that you manually join networks when you want to

3.) Manually re-join your home, work, and any other known/good networks

4.) Remember to forget/remove bad networks when appropriate going forward

5.) Get the Speedtest App which can test WIFI speed. It will also test cellular speed if you turn off WiFi.

Good Luck!

@DaveO3 Did you even read what I wrote? I’m not complaining about Wi-Fi. If I was on Wi-Fi it wouldn’t say 5G or 5G+. My phone works great at home on Wi-Fi. The data thru Xfinity is horrible. Might as well have dial up service.

This is what I get to deal with on Xfinity network all day long. Most of my data is used on loading time.

Ok, it sounds like there might be something wrong with your phone and maybe how it’s handling 5G?

Is there an option to select LTE or other choices? Try them with WiFi turned off.

Next, do you have an eSIM? If so Verizon just announced a free 30 day trial. Look it up and install a trial second line and see how it works? This will tell you what coverage you should be getting with XM if your phone is working properly.
