Fully block international roaming?

I am traveling to Italy soon, and I want to use Xfinity Mobile on my iPhone SE 2020 on wifi only. How can I get Xfinity Mobile to totally block international roaming so that Xfinity Mobile will not connect to Italian networks for either voice or data, but instead will use only Wi-Fi Calling?

I will have an Italian eSIM on the phone for mobile data, so simply putting the phone in Airplane Mode is not a workable solution because that would also disable the eSIM.

You will need to contact Xfinity Mobile support and make sure that International Roaming is NOT enabled. If you never asked XM to enable it, it should not be enabled, however XM normally enables roaming in Canada and Mexico by default. Contact XM just to be sure.

When you get to Italy or wherever your main line should show no service, or XM WiFi when you connect to WiFi.

According to this XM support page dated March 24, 2022, the data roaming toggle for iPhones turns off both voice and data. This might be a mistake? I don’t know whether each carrier gets this option?
