Expired gift card, never used

I tried using a $100 xfinity gift card and it would decline. I tried contacting the number on the back of the card without success. Now, i tried to use it again today and was informed that the card expired 8/23. Can you please reissue?

I'm so sorry to hear that your rewards card expired, that has happened to me a few time and there is nothing more frustrating then losing $100. I'll be more than happy to assist you and get a ticket opened so our rewards team can look into reissuing you a new rewards card.   •   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  •   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  •   Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  •   Press Enter to send it
