Existing customers Forced to Leave Xfinity mobile

I currently am looking to get new phones for myself and family but all of the deals offered are only for new customers only. Not for existing customers. I want to stay with Xfinity but I feel I’m being forced out because I can get such great deals on new phones from other carriers. Buy one get one free, trade in old phone, get a new phone. These deals can save me more than $3000 if I make the switch. Why would I stay? Why doesn’t Xfinity ever have anything for existing customers?

XM deals and Xfinity Rewards come and go, so you may have to wait. Most of the deals from other carriers don’t pencil out that well as they require high value trade ins and high priced plans for 2-3 years, so they get their money back. Free is not free.

Same deal with me. I contacted mobile support and they would not offer a deal for staying, or match another carriers deal. Sean in support basically hung up on me after putting me on hold for several minutes. T-Mobile has a 24 month deal that is unlimited and offers new phones for new customers. Looks like you have to switch carriers every two years to get a decent deal. I could handle staying if it was one device, but I am looking at 4. So ... time for me to fly!

I have been with xfinity /comcast since 2016 and have had x-mobile since May 2020 and am being asked to pay in full with no offers. The only offer I keep on getting is of trade-ins that too giving me a max of $150.  I guess one is left with just 2 options. Either shell out a $1000 to buy a new phone or stick with your old one. Or else leave. No benefits for being a loyal customer..

And yes did speak with customer support which unfortunately does not provide any deals

What you are saying here is nothing more than a bluff. There are no offers as of date for existing customers on your website for existing customer. I have been looking at the website since September. The promotion of $400 till the 10th of Jan 2023 and the $450 till the 31th is only for NEW LINES.. if you want to upgrade your phone you have to pay the full amount, no discounts. 

All what you are trying to do here is to show that there are offers but not the ones that you actually need. 

Folks .. Existing Loyal Customers hoping for a new phone ..if you need a new phone I guess you buy your own

Totally agree. No actual deals for existing customers. Even adding a line gets no discounts on phone. Must bring a line from elsewhere with you.

There is a current Xfinity Rewards promotion of $150 per phone. You must join Xfinity Rewards from your Xfinity/Comcast account, and then claim the promotion, and then go to the XM App or site to purchase eligible phones. This is good for existing lines as well as new lines.

Even when they offer a promotion, they look for anyway possible not to full fill the order. A simple mistake and I lost $1000, and nobody assist. Nothing they can do. Leave Xfinity as quickly as one can, as soon as I have my phones paid off ($3000 due on 3 phones) and I am a Verizon Customer. They actually have customer support.
