Does change from unlimited plus to premium unlimited stop device credits
I purchased 3 phones last December and am getting device payment credits for 24 months. Since I have paid half of the payments, the Xfinity app shows I can do early upgrades on the phones. However, I do not want to upgrade the phones.
However, I would like to change the current unlimited plus plans on the phones to premium unlimited. Reason is we travel internationally and it is my understanding that unlimited plus requires you a buy Globalpass every day, but premium unlimited includes 10GB per billing cycle.
Can someone please (1) confirm that upgrading the plans from unlimited plus to premium unlimited will NOT stop my device credits and (2) if it will not stop device credits, help me make the change.

Hi, @ms20! You are at the right place for further help with the Premium Unlimited data plan. Changing your data plan will not affect your device payments or force you to upgrade. You can change your data plan anytime by logging into the Xfinity app or our website. The instructions are here, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/how-to-switch-data-options.
With travelling, the Premium Unlimited plan will be beneficial for you. This plan comes with unlimited talk, text, and data is 215+ destinations. You would not need to add the Global Travel Pass as you would with the Unlimited plan. You get 100 GB of prioritized data and 30 GB of hotspot data. This also gives you the ability to stream in 4K and had Call Guard to keep those pesky spam calls at bay.
Please let me know any further questions you have or if you need assistance getting the data plan updated.
