Dishonest Customer Service Representive

The customer representatives on Xfinity chat are very dishonest. It seems they just want to sell stuff to us to meet their goals.

I was seeing two addresses linked to my account. One of which was my old address. I contacted Xfinity via customer service chat to request the removal of my old address. The representative tried to sell me an Apple Watch. I refused the offer. I wanted to check if there is any deal on the iPhone. She said that if I buy the iPhone 17, then my monthly bill will be reduced from $120 to $104. The payment for the iPhone will be spread across 24 months. I liked the offer. She sent me a link to confirm the order. I accepted and confirmed the order. After that, she sent me another detail where it said that the promotional discount is only valid for the first 12 months, after which my monthly bill will be $130 ($10 more than what I pay now). I did not like this. She should have told me this earlier. It was very important for me to know this before I accepted the deal. I told her to cancel the order. I don't know what happened then, but she was replaced by some other person on the chat.  had to explain the whole thing to the new person. She said that she is not the right person, and again, I was transferred to someone else on the chat. I again had to explain to the third person. This person told me that my order has been cancelled and I do not need to worry. The next day, to my surprise, I received an email that the iPhone had been shipped. I called the customer service number. Again, the same story is repeated. One person listens to the whole story and passes it on to the other. The last person with whom I was talking just went on mute for a long time, and the call got disconnected.
