Device credits stay with the line, not the phone that was purchased?
Hello,
I want to move my new Pixel 6a to a different of my Xfinity Mobile lines than the new one it came with. I have 24 months of credits on that new line. If I swap (pair) the SIM currently in the new Pixel 6a to a different phone, I should get the message "SIM pairing complete. SIM is now paired with a different device. All network-related features will apply to that device. All billing-related functions — such as device upgrades and monthly payments — are still paired with the original device."
Can you confirm that I will still get all of my remaining 23 bill credits on that line that I will keep (with a different device) over the next 24 months once I have paired that line to a new device, since all billing is still paired with the original device (which is fine) ?
I called into Xfinity Mobile customer service and one agent said no, I would lose my remaining bill credits if I swapped in a new device. A second call into a different agent said that it would be no problem and I would NOT lose my remaining bill credits (in line with the quote above from my Xfinity account).
Can you give me a definitive answer please?
