CELL PHONE COMPATABILITY

Dear Xfinity / Comcast cell phone expert. I am a current Xfinity cell user with a Google Pixel 4XL, but just bought a TCL 10 pro from Amazon because all said that it SHOULD work on Xfinity. But it does not. I get data but no voice. Verizon's site says that the phone will work but I don't want to switch carriers as your service has been fine (and frankly, you are 1/2 the price)! I spoke with a helpful Xfinity service rep. last night, but she checked and said that the phone will not work.

SO - must I return the phone, or is there a way? i think that the TCL phones are a good value for your useres and it would eb a service to all if you could activaye.

Thank you,

Daniel [Edited: "Personal Information"]

Hi there! I'd be glad to ensure that this gets looked into further, and see what it would take to get your new phone. I'm a bit of a cell phone buff, and was considering the TCL Ultra because of the camera specs. Plus the phone in addition to our amazing Xfinity Mobile service would be amazing Please send a private message with your name, the complete service address (including city, state, ZIP, suite number, etc), and the phone or account number, and any pertinent details-- like the ticket number(s)-- so we can help. You can do this by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner of your screen and send a message to the shared handle "Xfinity Support"

Good morning, unfortunately we only support iPhone, Samsung and Google Pixel phones to be transferred over to our network at this time. To check compatibility you can visit byod and it will allow you to view if any phone is able to be transferred.

Thanks Matt, I deleted my public reply with me address (I think). Looks like the TCL phone will not work on Xfinity, though it will work on Verizon! Strange. Guess I'll have to return it or switch providers. Thanks for your help. Dan
