cell billing

I am an Xfinity Internet customer only. I have never signed up for Xfinity Mobile.

Last month, I was charged $124 on my credit card for Xfinity Mobile. I called Xfinity, and the representative told me I did not have a mobile account and suggested I dispute the charge with my credit card company. The charge was refunded.

Today, I received a text message saying I have a debt that may be sent to collections. I called Xfinity again today (August 7, 2026). The representative confirmed again that:

  • I do not have a Xfinity Mobile account.
  • I have no outstanding balance or debt.
  • He could not see any collection text sent to me.
  • He added a note to my account.

I am confused because I received this text even though Xfinity says I have no mobile account and no debt.

My biggest concern is making sure this issue does not affect my credit and that I will not be charged again for a service I never ordered.

Can a Xfinity representative please verify that this issue has been resolved and confirm that there will be no future charges or collection activity?

Thank you.
