Cannot receive port-out transfer PIN by SMS while traveling abroad - need an alternative

I'm trying to port my Xfinity Mobile number out to another carrier and I need my number transfer (port-out) PIN, but I cannot receive it.

The problem: I'm currently traveling internationally. The transfer PIN is only delivered by SMS to my line, and that specific text never arrives here - even though normal verification-code texts DO reach my line, and international roaming is enabled (premium plan). This matches the PIN being sent from a short code, which does not deliver on international roaming. On top of that, the self-service "Transfer or cancel this line" page loads a blank white screen for me while abroad, and Wi-Fi Calling will not activate (Verizon backend error).

I have already contacted several chat agents and the phone line. Chat agents say the PIN requires verbal authorization they cannot provide; one promised to email it and it never arrived; the phone IVR just loops back to the self-service steps and will not connect me to a live person.

Could a specialist please verify my identity by direct message and either release the transfer PIN through a channel I can actually access, or arrange a callback that connects me directly to a live agent (not the IVR)? Number Lock is already off. Thank you.

Hello @user_mqrstg We appreciate you trying the self service option. Since the text isn't working we can escalate this to our Xfinity Mobile Corporate Escalations team and have them contact you directly to complete this process. Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
