Cannot activate phone, switching over from ATT to Xfinity

Both my wife and I are coming from different carriers (ATT, T-Mobile)

We're unable to activate our phones even when supplying the correct information and we're just told to contact support, which we do. Support then asks for some info we've already given 10 times and says "Oh theres an issue with the activation" Which is of course, the whole reason I showed up to support.

I spoke with someone who said they initialized an "activation request" and it should take 2-3 hours. It of course did not. I contacted them again and went through the whole runaround of answering the same questions, then was told that now this person has submitted an "activation request" and it will be 24-72 hours until I am notified... I asked what happens if I am not notified? They just said "You definitely will be notified"

I was not notified. Phone still is not activated, and it seems useless to even try because they just want to get you off the line and will lie to you about steps they've taken just so you go away. Really thinking about cancelling this service.

Same thing here. Then rep said that ATT is not getting the request due to "stock order" title. The said there is a "middle man service" that makes it impossible to tell ATT directly to transfer the phone??? Is this company committing fraud to exist or what? Said I need to take Xfinity number not my ATT number that I have had for years! Rep cannot get ahold of a supervisor....
