BYOD

If I purchase an iphone 7 or later device that is unlocked for Verizon can I bring that phone into an Xfinity store and get it activated on the Xfinity Network?  I am an existing XM customer NOT a new customer.  I am NOT requesting a new line, just want to activate the phone on my existing line and number.  I need a new phone and Xfinity will NOT not give existing customers discounts for iphones like they do for new customers even though we are loyal customers since the beginning.

This is all based on the assuption that the phone is clean, no issues and the IMEI number has been checked and cleared.  thanx.

According to this link, XM doesn't support adding your own device to an existing line.

Thank you for the reply.

Perfect.  Buy one of their overpriced phones or give up my cell number I have had for 15 years.  Seriously XM?  This is the best you can do?   Great.

I had a verizon wireless number (2) that I ported into XM having bought a new phone from XM. I think you need a SIM Card from XM (free). Got gift card from XM on time.
