BYOD Unlocked Moto G Power

I'm Trying to bring a new phone to xfinity mobile, but on their BYOD site, it doesn't show any motorola phones. Even though they sell the phone through their site, can I not bring an unlocked version of my phone? It's a moto g power.

Compatiblity isn't based on the model alone. It's based on the IMEI number. Evidently the IMEI number of your phone indicates the software is not compatible.

I am trying to switch to Xfinity mobile and it was because of my IMEI number not being compatible that I couldn't use my phone. Now I'll have to wait and get another phone that is compatible or just stick with my current provider for now.

Xfinity has a forced obselescence policy.  If you have a phone on their network but switch to a different phone, they "remove it from your account".  Then when you try to bring that phone back for another line, they say it can't be added to the system because it is too old.  Even though the phone was ON THE SYSTEM.  This has happened to me  with both an iPhone and a Motorola phone.  Their system is criminally wasteful.
