Being charged Monthly for a free phone and can't get it resolved (I ported my number from another carrier)

1.  Request for authorization to send a direct message.  It is my understanding that I need to post at least one message (this one) in order to have direct-message capability. Initially, I don't see the need that my frustration/ issue/comments be directed to public forum.

(2.  I would like my user-name changed to user_9409 which is better-descriptive for me. Can you route this request as well?)
