Avoid auto connecting to free Xfinity wifi on Xfinity mobile

Hi, I have a Google pixel with Xfinity mobile, and it keeps auto connecting to free, unsecured xfinity wifi Networks. How do I prevent this from happening? Each time I manually disable auto connect on one Xfinity mobile wifi network, it will still auto connect to the next one I am in range of. This is a security concern for me because it seems most of the networks are unsecured.

XFINITY  and xfinitywifi each have their own settings. Have you disabled auto-connect in both?

Hi @user_eedf60 , the "XFINITY" SSID is an encrypted secure connection. You can refer to this article about the differences between the secure "XFINITY" network and the open "xfinitywifi" network: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/secure-vs-open-xfinity-wifi

To remove a registered Xfinity WiFi device, you can refer to this article: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/manage-wifi-devices-my-account
