Any resolution to not being able to access voicemail after android update last year or so?

My girlfriend and I both have the S20 plus phone.  Last year or maybe even the year before there was an android update that came through.  Ever since that time she can't access the default voicemail and gets an error that says contact xfinity mobile.  I can still access voicemail just fine.  She doesn't get alerted about any new voicemails and has to manually dial the 2 digit code to call voice mail.   I've searched online about this and seeing a few people having the exact same issue.  We have removed the sim for like 10 minutes and reinserted and many other things to try and get this to work again.  Has anyone else had this issue and got it fixed and what did you do?  Probably gonna have to go the xfinity mobile store and get help.

Sounds like the same problem I had. Do you recall if the phone came with the XFINITY visual voicemail app installed? When the app stopped working and I was forced to go back to my Samsung voicemail I never got notifications of new voicemails. I think it's because the phone came pre placed with the visual voicemail app.

@blader No the phones didn't have the xfinity visual voicemail app preinstalled. Even if it did, that doesn't explain why mine works just fine but not hers.  Thinking of going to the xfinity store this morning when it opens.

@blader went to the xfinity store today and it ended up being something on their end.  She can now access the voicemail app.
