Any luck with BYOD Unlocked Samsung S10e?
Has anyone had any luck bringing their own Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S10e (SM-G970U1), purchased directly from Samsung?
I went to Comcast's site to check my device's IMEI (https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/byod), and it says it is supported, but as a test I put my significant other's SIM in my phone and neither Visual Voicemail or Wifi calling worked. Which of course, are dealbreakers for me.
So, I'm just wondering what's up.

Humm, can't say this bode's well for the level of support Comcast puts into their offering and community.

No probs at all. I purchased SM-G970U1 from Samsung in Best Buy used it for awhile VIA SIM swap. Eventually went to local Xfinity store. They issued a new SIM now my account has the unlocked SGS10e attached to it.
As for Visual Voicemail it works, dont know about wifi calling. How could I test that for you?

Hi, thanks for your info.
If you have the time and inclination to test this for me, you'd first open the phone dialer, then press the ... in the upper right corner, and scroll down to wifi calling option and turn it on (if it isn't already).
Then to test WiFi calling, you'd first have to go into airplane mode, then turn WiFi on (this is just to ensure cellular is off, and only wifi is being used). Then try to make a call.
