Activate number or provide port out pin

I placed an order for internet service on Feb. 8. It also includes one year of free cell service. As part of that process I had my number ported to Xfinity, but they could not figure out how to activate it. I am currently out of the US so everything has to be done over wifi. After spending over 10 hours on the phone I placed an order with my old cell company and downloaded an esim with a new number, thinking that I would just port back. Not so easy. When you generate a port out pin on Xfinity the only option is to send a text to the active number. Since they couldn't activate that number this process doesn't work. So, two issues.

1. Find a way to activate my number

2. Send me a transfer pin so that I can move it to another carrier. 

Activating a number/esim on the new carrier only took a few minutes without calling anyone, so the issue is not with my phone or the connection.
