When I made the swap from Verizon to Xfinity I was told Xfinity would be covering my remaining Verizon balance. About 5 days later I got a bill from Verizon.

Hello, @user_7zwad0! Thanks for signing up for Xfinity Mobile! We are glad to have you! This link shows the device buy out program, https://mobiletimetoswitch.xfinity.com. You will need to upload a copy of your Verizon bill. A prepaid card is issued to you for the remaining device payments, up to $500 per line. You would take care of canceling the Verizon account and making the final payment to them.

So bassically when the Xfinity representative said THEY would be handling yhe transfer and fees they meant I would be doing that? I was told I wouldn't have to do anything but swap over.

We always want things to be easy and are glad to go over what needs to be done. I apologize this was not a smoother process from the get go. We are not able to make changes, payments, etc. to your personal account with Verizon or any other provider, @user_7zwad0. You would need to work with them to take care of that account.
