Use the Repeat Dialing feature with Xfinity Voice (Answered)

One of the many features of your Xfinity Voice service is Repeat Dialing, which repeatedly dials a busy number until someone answers, freeing you for other activities. You can still use your phone to make and receive other calls.

Note: Repeat Dialing is not available in all areas, and is not included with the Xfinity Voice Unlimited Saver plan.

Use Repeat Dialing

  1. Hang up the receiver after hearing a busy signal.
  2. Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
  3. Press *66, then hang up the receiver.
  4. Repeat Dialing will attempt to reach the called party for 30 minutes.
  5. When the called party's phone is available, your phone will ring.
  6. When you pick up your phone, the called party's phone will ring and your call will be connected.
    • If you don’t want to wait the full 30 minutes, you can cancel the feature at any time.

Cancel Repeat Dialing

  1. Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
  2. Press *86.

Repeat Dialing guidelines

  • If the other line is not free after 30 minutes, the feature will be automatically cancelled.
  • This feature does not work with long distance, international, 800-, 888- or cell phone numbers.
  • This feature does not work in conjunction with Call Waiting.
    • If the Repeat Dialing feature is active and you are on another call, you will not receive a Call Waiting beep when the first line is free.
  • Note: This feature can only be enabled for one telephone number you are trying to reach at a time.
