Zelle will not allow me to register using Xfinity mobile number

I'm able to receive the bank F2A sms text message, however I can't register my mobile number with Zelle Pay.  I tried it with my 2 different banks, both not allow me to register.

I came here looking for the same resolution.  Zelle complains that my Xfinity mobile number needs attentions, "enroll this mobile number", but it won't work with zelle.   It worked with Chase bank.

I'm guessing the issue is related to "The phone number is a landline or a Voice over IP number". That's one of the requirements I have listed here in my banking app.

@user_505819 Thank you for making a post for help with using your mobile number for two-factor authentication for mobile banking. For apps or sites with strict security protocols, they do keep numbers that may have been previously used by a different customer. If your number is new to you this may be the case and these banks still have the old customers' information on file. With that you can reach out to each bank's support for assistance I believe some fraud departments would be able to assist in ensuring your number is no longer associated with the prior customer.

We're not able to access your Xfinity Mobile account here but our Xfinity Mobile Team are experts at what they do, and I know they can get this resolved for you. You can reach our Xfinity Mobile Team with a call, text message, or via chat. Call or Text: 1 (888) 936-4968 or [Chat with a Specialist](https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/?channel=xMobile)

Xfinity won't come out with any solution to this issue. All they want is more money to provide you a mobile phone number. I will quit their service

Hello, @user_xt8l6d  thank you for taking time out of your day to reply to this post. If you're using an App, from experience I have seen that to receive text notifications a mobile number does need to be utilized.
