xfinity mobile overseas service

I recently switched from AT & T to Xfinity Mobile.  When I made the switch, the agent assured me there would be absolutely no interruption in service.   But today I tried to call Nassau, Bahamas, and found out that I do not have overseas service on my phone!   I work in The Bahamas, so it is imperative that I am able to call there.  Even though WhatsApp works for some numbers for others it of course does not.  After holding for 20 minutes, I was told my overseas service would work after my next billing period.  That would be December!  Ridiculous!  I have been a Comcast customer for over 30 years and am totally disgusted.  Anybody got any ideas?  Any Comcast suits read this stuff?

gpb369, I totally understand your frustrations. I do want to say welcome to family with mobile. The great news in the mist of this is, you did not have any interruptions in service. With Bahamas, being a place of communication, I want to share this link with you, especially if you do traveling to other countries >> International Plans: Talk, Text & Data from Xfinity Mobile -- Your Global Travel Pass is $10/day. I would enable that if I were you. The Pay as you go option while traveling is $0.30c per MB of Data. Calls while being in the United States calling out to the Bahamas, is $0.70c per min talk, and text messages are free. I do thank you for simply reaching out as well. Don't feel disgusted, I am here with you.

My super questions are;

- What company did you have for mobile service prior to Xfinity Mobile?
- How much were you paying per month?
- How long are you going to be out of the US, and there? Just on a yearly average.

I was with AT&T.  About $180.00 per month.  I call there a lot more than I go there.  But the good news is that an agent named Belle helped me and I am now able to dial The Bahamas.  She was very persistent and I was on the phone with her for a long time, but she got 'er done!  Kudos to Belle.
