Xfinity is not releasing the mobile number (Device is already unlocked, Number lock is tuned off too)

I submitted a port‑out request on May 13th, 2026 to move my number from Xfinity to another carrier. Both carriers are saying the porting process is complete. On the new carrier, I’m able to make outgoing calls, but I’m not receiving any incoming calls or text messages. My number is still active on both networks, which means Xfinity hasn’t fully released it. It appears to be stuck in a split‑port situation. I don’t understand why Xfinity is not completely releasing my number. Xfinity is still holding the inbound routing. Please complete the port release and perform a backend disconnect on my line. This is a routing issue on Xfinity’s backend. Please escalate to the backend porting team for a manual release. NPAC shows the number assigned to Lyca. Xfinity needs to release the routing. Please escalate to the backend team.”

I tried to reach (888) 936‑4968 and they are not resolving issues. I am in horrible situation. Please help on here.

@user_3de378 Our team can dive into your port-out issue and raise the appropriate ticket for assistance. If you could please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
