Worst Mobile Carrier

⭐ 1/5 — Terrible experience with Xfinity Mobile

I honestly cannot recommend Xfinity Mobile. My experience with this company has been extremely frustrating from beginning to end.

When they are trying to get you as a new customer, the service is great. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and makes the process seem easy. But once you become a customer, the experience completely changes.

First, the mobile service itself has been terrible. I constantly experience poor or no signal, and even while driving, my GPS has stopped working because the connection drops. For a mobile carrier, reliable service should be the absolute minimum, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience with Xfinity Mobile.

On top of that, going to a store for assistance usually means dealing with extremely long lines and waiting forever just to get help with something that should be simple.

But the worst experience has been trying to LEAVE Xfinity Mobile.

After approximately two years as a customer, I decided to switch carriers. These are phone numbers that I originally brought with me to Xfinity, and I have now spent TWO DAYS simply trying to transfer my own numbers to another carrier.

Every representative gives me a completely different answer. First, I was told I only can request the pin thru the app, but only could by website. Then, I needed to wait 24 hours. Then someone else said 48 hours. Then I was told I needed to pay my previous bill first and that afterward they could immediately provide my transfer PIN. After paying, I am being told that I have to physically go to an Xfinity store.

Which one is it? Nobody knows what they are doing??? I've been wasting my time for 2 days.

It is absolutely unacceptable that a customer has to spend two days talking to different representatives, receiving contradictory information, and jumping through one hoop after another just to transfer their phone numbers.

When I transferred my numbers TO Xfinity, my previous carrier provided the information I needed without making the process this difficult. Yet now that I want to leave Xfinity, suddenly everything has become unnecessarily complicated.

After this experience, I am more certain than ever that leaving Xfinity Mobile is the right decision.

A company should treat customers with the same level of respect when they decide to leave as when they are trying to earn their business. Making the process unnecessarily difficult does not make customers want to stay—it only guarantees they will never want to come back.

Extremely disappointing customer service, unreliable mobile service, inconsistent information from representatives, and an unnecessarily frustrating process to transfer my own phone numbers.

I would NOT recommend Xfinity Mobile
