Throttled Data

I have Xfinity Home Internet/Cable and Mobile cell service.

Due to Helene there are so many outages due to downed lines, etc.

What I don’t understand is why they are throttling my 5G cell service when it’s the only service they can provide to me “uninterrupted” right now.

Good afternoon, @user_u02q0n! Thanks for reaching out about your service. I hope you and your loved ones are doing alright during this time! With all cellular providers, when there is a large increase in usage in can cause congestion. That can cause the network can slow down some. There also may be damage to some of the cellular towers. We have all hands on deck working on our service and will get things working properly once again.
