Receiving MMS Blurry Images

For the last few weeks, regardless of the sender's carrier or phone, any image (picture, screenshot, gif) that I receive is compressed and blurry. This is whether I use Samsung Messages (for my Note8) or Google Messages. I can send images perfectly fine to others, also regardless of their carrier or phone. It would seem that within the last few weeks that there is a size limit imposed on received MMS messages. This is very annoying and impairs my work and personal communication.
