RCS stopped working

RCS randomly stopped working on my phone. I have messages im in groups that im can't send or receive. RCS IS ON. says connecting for the last 24hrs.

user_a9lq8, thank you for reaching out through Xfinity Forums. I am sorry to hear you're having trouble with the RCS texting. Try the following and let us know how it goes: 
 
  • Toggle RCS: Open Google Messages, go to your profile icon > Message settings > RCS chats, turn it off, and turn it back on.
  • Check Data: Ensure you have a stable mobile data or Wi-Fi connection. RCS does not work over standard cellular voice channels.
  • Default App: Make sure Google Messages is selected as your default SMS application.
