What existing number are you referring to? Your Xfinity Voice number?
To port an Xfinity Voice (landline) number to Xfinity Mobile, you must add a new line to your Xfinity Mobile account and supply your landline account information.
Requirements & Information Needed
Active Status: Do not cancel your Xfinity Voice service beforehand; the landline must stay active during the transfer.
New Line Required: You must add a new line to Xfinity Mobile for the number (it cannot replace an existing mobile line directly on the same phone).
Porting Details:
Phone Number: Your 10-digit Xfinity Voice number.
Account Number: Your Xfinity account number (found on your Comcast/Xfinity bill).
Porting PIN: Use 0000 as the default porting PIN for Xfinity Voice/landline transfers.
Steps to Transfer
Open the Xfinity App or log into your Xfinity Mobile account.
Add a new mobile line or select the option to bring your current phone number to a new line.
Choose your current service provider (Xfinity or Xfinity Voice) from the provider list.
Enter your Xfinity account number, your billing address, and 0000 for the porting PIN.
Submit the request and keep the landline active until the transfer completes.
What to Expect
Timeline: Landline-to-mobile transfers typically take 3 to 5 days to finish.
Cancellation: Once the porting process finishes successfully, your old Xfinity Voice landline service will automatically cancel.
Modem: You can keep using your existing internet/voice modem equipment.
If you run into issues during the transfer, you can reach Xfinity Mobile support directly at 1-888-936-4968 or via chat on the Xfinity Assistant page.
