Outbound Call Failure: "Announcement 4" when dialing Landlines/Toll-Free (Pixel 9 & 5)

I recently signed up for Xfinity Mobile (less than 30 days ago) and am experiencing a persistent issue with my eSIM-based number that technical support has been unable to resolve.

The Issue: Whenever I attempt to dial landlines or toll-free numbers (800, 888, etc.), the call fails immediately with the recording:

"Your call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again. Announcement Four."

What works:

  • Calls to other mobile numbers work perfectly.

  • Calls to Voicemail work.

  • Data and SMS/MMS are functioning normally.

Troubleshooting already performed:

  1. Device Swap: I moved the eSIM from my Pixel 9 to a Pixel 5; the issue persisted on the second device, suggesting this is a line/provisioning issue and not a handset defect.

  2. Network Settings: Reset network settings on both devices.

  3. Support Contact: I have contacted Xfinity Technical Support twice. We have attempted several refreshes on their end, but the "Announcement 4" remains.

Existing Ticket Numbers:

  • ECM0020238259

  • ECM0020220131

I am looking for assistance from a specialist who can look into the routing/switch configuration for this specific line, as standard troubleshooting hasn't cleared the error. Any help from the community or the Xfinity team would be greatly appreciated!
