NOW mobile in the caribbean

Apparently I asked this question back in December but had the wrong location. I have the NOW mobile unlimited plan. I am going on a cruise in February to the Caribbean (not Mexico & Belize that I asked about before). Will my phone still work?

Great question, silentwolf13! You’ll be able to purchase a Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass, which provides immediate access to unlimited calls and texts to and from Mexico and Canada — plus 5G of prioritized data roaming in both countries — for just $5 per month. Please note, if you use more than 5 GB of roaming data in Mexico and Canada, your speeds will be slowed in those countries until your service renews at the start of your next billing cycle. You’ll have access to the pass until the end of your current billing cycle. Currently, no other international plans are available for NOW Mobile.

@XfinityThomasA That would be great except I'm not going to Canada or Mexico. The cruise has stops in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and a private island owned by Royal Caribbean in the Caribbean.

That sounds amazing, silentwolf13. Just a quick heads-up: the NOW service is a pay-ahead program, and currently, the $5 pass is available only for Canada and Mexico. For other international destinations like the Caribbean, you can still use Xfinity Mobile, but standard international rates will apply. To explore all the details and options available with the NOW plan, the best place to visit is https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/now-internet-faqs.
