No calls when wifi is on

I can't get any calls when I select wifi!!! I even have an xfinity router so I am furious right now! My husband has accused me of cheating because when I'm at work or home it goes straight to voicemail! I have been dealing with this for a year now have a new galaxy and all updates installed. I think I'm going to T Mobile. Xfinity owes me money for all the calls I didn't receive!

@user_kgnz5n Are you saying you have Wi-Fi turned on, and  Wi-Fi calling enabled on your phone and the calls are not coming in? Please clarify further.

This is the scenario for me, but it's not all the time; it's an intermittent problem and affects both outgoing calls (just get call failed message over and over) and incoming calls as well.  The phone doesn't ring, and if the person leaves a voicemail (most do not) the voicemail message will pop up on my phone.  I would appreciate any updates.  I have missed emergency calls several times from a family member I am a caretake for.  I was blaming AT&T and Apple, not thinking it was Xfinity wifi causing the issues.    We live in an area with very little cell reception and NEED the WiFi.  Please help!  Thanks!
