Must Turn Off Xfinity Cellular Data to Send Messages with Photos When At Home On Xfinity WiFi.
We have Xfinity Mobile for our Phones. We have Xfinity home Wifi for our internet. The wife says, "Allen, send me those 5 photos you took today." I open Messaging on my Samsung S25, attach the 5 photos, and send them to her phone. She's sitting on the other side of the room. After 10 minutes, she doesn't get them. I toggle Xfinity mobile data to "OFF", leaving Xfinity Wifi turned on/connected. Within 20 seconds, all 5 photos arrive on her phone. Strangely, Xfinity Mobile won't send the photos, and it won't let my Xfinity home wifi send them either. This has happened enough times over the past 3 years I've been an Xfinity Mobile customer, for me to know exactly what to do when photos don't send in a reasonable amount of time, while I'm at home.
The Purpose of this post is to let the community know that if you have trouble sending photos/videos via messaging, and your Xfinity Mobile is on while you're also connected to Xfinity Wifi (or maybe any Wifi?), try turning off your Xfinity Mobile. IT MIGHT WORK FOR YOU TOO! 👍
