Mobile service activation- DOB and SSN unable to verify
I signed up for a new internet connection with Xfinity in March 2026, which included a promotion offering a free mobile line for one year. I received a phone number that worked fine for some time, but it was unexpectedly deactivated on April 1, 2026, without my consent.
When I contacted support, I was asked to reverify my SSN and date of birth. However, their system was unable to process or recognize my information. I made multiple calls to customer support and also visited the store in person a couple of times, but the issue remains unresolved.
As a result, the initial promise of a free mobile line for one year has not been honored
